Bob’s Club is both the oldest continually running business and the oldest commercial building in Elk Grove. While our history is a little shaky, stories over the years have our building being everything from a brothel to a café before becoming Bob’s Club. Originally built in Sacramento in the early 1870’s, Bob’s Club (or the building rather) eventually moved to its permanent home in Elk Grove a few years later. So you see, Bob’s Club has always had a history of providing folks with hospitality and service (evidently sometimes more than others).
